About David Schweikert:

David Schweikert has represented Arizona in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2011. He currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and is Chairman of the Bicameral Joint Economic Committee. Earlier in his congressional service, he served on the United States House Committee on Financial Services, where he worked on issues affecting housing finance, capital markets, and financial institutions. Congressman Schweikert frequently engages with the housing finance industry and will share insights on the current political climate in Washington and legislation affecting mortgage lenders in 2026—highlighting both opportunities and emerging challenges for the industry.
